This year, for Christmas we decided to create something pretty and very colourful: beautiful Christmas themed dolls, complete with caps and scarves, reminiscent of cold birds!

Cute, aren’t they? Come on, try it yourself!

Here’s what you need:

• Walnuts
• Plasticised iron wire
• Yellow and black crepe (or felt) rubber
• Quick-setting glue
• Old wool gloves or socks
• Colourful pompoms
• Various ribbons

To create these puppets, let yourself be carried away by your creativity, adding the details you like: create the paws with the plasticised iron wire and the beak and the eyes with the crepla rubber.

For the hats, you can cut up an old glove or socks and use ribbons to close the upper end, if you are not familiar a needle and thread.

For the earmuffs just a piece of metal wire and a few pom poms and it’s all completed.

These cute little dolls can be used as ornaments for your gifts, hung on the Christmas tree, used as a placeholder or much more besides…and they will be a definite hit!
